Seaways runs Sports Mixed Gas and Advanced Mixed Gas courses for open circuit divers and CCR (Inspiration/Evolution) divers! Depending on your requirements, we can help you with the recreational normoxic trimix certification right through to the Advanced Mixed Gas (80 metre) certification. Rescue Management Exercises with Local Dive Boats!

Seaways Diving have just finished exercises involving two local dive boat crews and a number of local dive clubs. Holding the exercises on board Wave Chieftain and with Chris Lowe (Atlantic Diver) on board, we practised different methods of recovering casualties to larger craft with both large and small teams of 'rescuers'. Everyone had a chance to be the 'Rescue Manager' and the evening ended in Castaways wine bar, Mylor Harbour for a debrief!

From escorted dives to complete scuba or technical diving courses, we can arrange whatever you need. Diving courses run through our BSAC Dive Centre of Excellence, boats arranged and advice on dive sites and accommodation. There are frequent dolphin and basking shark sightings during the season and we have a resident seal colony often to be seen at low water on Black Rock!

We love diving! When we are not teaching diving, we are out there doing it! Colin is an open circuit trimix instructor and John is an advanced mixed gas closed circuit rebreather instructor. Both have many years experience of diving with the British Sub Aqua Club, the largest dive club in the world.

The Friday evening fun Dive!

All through the year we have a regular Friday evening dive. There are 12 places on the boat and you book by phoning us at the shop (01326 375544). First come first served. You pay the skipper direct and we look for minimum Sport Diver / Advanced Open Water or equivalent. No dive guides, no teaching, this is our weekly fun dive and you are invited to come along! This is our relaxation after a busy week! Dive site depends on the weather but we depart Falmouth at 18.00 hrs. (You'll need lamps and strobes in the winter as it is then a night dive, but the evenings are getting lighter!) If you don't have a buddy. we will pair you up with a suitably qualified diver on the boat. Bring your logbooks and dive medicals.
