Seaways runs courses for all diver levels right through the year!  If you want to start diving, or do a crossover course to BSAC from another organisation, we can help.  If you are more experienced,  we can help you with advanced courses including the recreational (Sports Mixed Gas) normoxic trimix  certification right through to the Advanced Mixed Gas (80 metre) certification. All diving is done locally from large dive boats with diver lifts!  The water temperature in the South West allows us to dive right through the year, so contact us to join the next course!  In 2010 we will be starting Mixed Gas try-dives for Sports Divers and above who hold the new Advanced Decompression Procedures qualification (or equivalent). If you want to progress your personal diving experience and your certification levels, come and discuss your goals with our experienced instructors.  With BSAC, you have many ways of taking your diving forward - it depends on where you are now, and where you want to be  in the future. Do you want to instruct? (Not everyone does!) Perhaps you just want to take photographs or even explore deep wrecks?  Come and talk to us about your aspirations and we will suggest a number of ways forward for you.

If you are just starting out, we can help you with your initial training and then place you with a local  branch of the BSAC where you can continue diving on a regular basis progressing your training in a club atmosphere!

Seaways can offer accommodation lists, boat hire contacts, air, nitrox and trimix to 300 bars, equipment hire and a fully stocked shop complete with on the spot equipment servicing and cylinder testing!  Need some wreck and reef locations for your divers or tidal windows for your dive sites? - come and talk to us! (we'll even come diving on your club boat if you invite us!)

We love diving!  When we are not teaching diving, we are out there doing it!  Colin is an open circuit trimix instructor and John is an advanced mixed gas closed circuit rebreather instructor.  Both have many years experience of diving with the British Sub Aqua Club, the largest dive club in the world.

The Sunday Morning fun Dive!

All through the year we have a regular Sunday morning dive. There are 12 places on the boat and you book by phoning us at the shop (01326 375544).  First come first served. You pay the skipper direct and we look for minimum Sport Diver / Advanced Open Water or equivalent.  No dive guides, no teaching, this is our weekly fun dive and as a qualified diver you are invited to come along!  This is our relaxation after a busy week!  Dive site depends on the weather but we depart Mylor Harbour at 08.00 hrs. For this dive we use Wave Chieftain, based in Mylor Harbour and there is a full safety team onboard!   If you don't have a buddy. we will pair you up with a suitably qualified diver on the boat.
